Cottage paint colours...

I get asked a lot what paint colours we have used in our home.  This house is very open concept, so really for the main living spaces we have stuck with one colour- Sherwin Williams Moderate White.  I like it because it is not a stark white, or a yellowy white- just a good creamy white.

Our kitchen cabinets are a combination of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Pure White (upper cabinets) and ASCP in Country Grey for the lower cabinets and the tall pantry.  It is clear waxed and has held up beautifully in the three years we have had them painted.

The library is painted in Sherwin Williams Functional Gray... It's not too dark, but not exactly light, so it gives just the right amount of moodiness to this library space.

All of our interior doors are painted in ASCP Graphite with clear wax.  I love a painted interior door.  We have done this in our last two houses and I cannot imagine going back to a plain white door!

Sara's room is the colourful one, it's painted with paint we matched to a Tiffany's box...

Our outside paint is a mystery to us.  We were never given the colours by the builder.  We do know the shutter colour, because we built and painted them ourselves!  It's Sherwin Williams Iron Ore...

So there you have it, the paints we've used in our home :)
