Little Cottage Christmas Tour....

Welcome!  My name is Tricia and we live in what we affectionately refer to as the "Little Cottage on the Pond".  We live on the coast of Texas.....warm and not so "Christmasy".  I do prefer a lot of greenery and burlap.  Maybe even some cowboy boots ; o )

I am linking up to Jennifer Rizzo's Holiday Housewalk party....

We are all decorated for the holidays and anxiously awaiting the arrival of Santa.

Okay, maybe not- my kids are teenagers.....but I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of Santa ; o )

Thank you so much for stopping by.....have yourself a merry "little" Christmas now ; o )

  4. Hi from Ontario, Canada. I am stopping by from Jennifer Rizzo's Holiday Home Tour. Your home is pretty and your Christmas decor is lovely. What a welcoming front door! I am loving all the greenery and simple burlap and brown paper packages. The vintage bingo cards and math drill cards are great additions. Wishing you a Merry Christmas. I am adding my tour very soon.

    1. I always tell others that those personal touches are what keeps a home from looking like a model home! You have to have your personality in it : o )

  7. Wow, lovely. A tall tree for high ceilings - but where's Jack's stocking? And is that a pile of TP I see on the coffee table? Hope it doesn't come in handy there.

  13. Just wanted to say thank you for the tip about the Vitner bucket @ Tuesday Morning. My hubby and I were out riding with friends, and ended up stopping to eat by Lake Houston. I spied a TM that I wondered since it was in a weird area, if they had received those buckets. I told him I have to check for "something"!! Low and behold, if I hadn't known what I was looking for, would have walked right past them, they were holding xmas poinsettias, and other tall xmas picks! $49.00, not bad, considering the cheapest was $50.00 in Nola...saved me gas money! So, yes we rode home with this huge metal bucket under my arm all the way home, getting strange looks from the people we passed, but worth every look, thanks for the tip girlie!!!
