Just an FYI...you have to be a certain height to pull down an attic ladder.

Flags...and to do that at five feet tall, you have to drag another ladder over to the attic ladder.

Flags & happy little yellow flowers...and it's probably NOT a good idea to do all of that while wearing flip flops.

Also, when husband says, "The fourth of July decorations are at the top of the attic stairs" what he really means is, "I have cleverly disguised the Fourth of July decorations by putting them in an unmarked trash bag therefore making them look like random trash instead of what you were looking for."

The lesson learned in all of this is that I am short, but determined, because even though it nearly cost me my life I got that ladder down (and back up) planted those flowers, and put out the flags. Thank you.
