Post Christmas cottage fluffing....

With the Christmas things shoved  stored in the garage I decided to do a bit of fluffing in the cottage.  It's funny how empty a house looks when you take down all the tree and extra greenery...

I had been looking for the perfect spot to put my painting sign that I purchased from The Polished Pebble shop.

Call me maybe?  Just found this at an antique shop yesterday.

I have Delft plates with our wedding date and one for each of the kids.  I hung them in our bathroom...

I found this at an antique shop....I'm a huge fan ; o )
The fire is going and the weather is dreary.  I want to sit an read, but I really ought to get out into that garage and put the holiday things away!

  1. No you have time for that - sit and enjoy the fire with a good book!
I just love your home Tricia - so gorgeous!

  2. Dreary here too so we are staying busy. Your cottage looks great.

  3. Wonderful fluffing! So pretty. Love the fan and map. My house felt so empty too, but it was good feeling!! I love all of your things. Especially the special dates plates. So sweet!

  4. Lovely treasures! I agree with Suzyq, go ahead and just relax and read. :)

  5. Thanks y'all- I totally took a lazy day yesterday. Got everything cleaned, organized and put away today ; ) Sometimes a day doing nothing is just what we need!

  6. I don't know what qualifies as empty, so far your house has never looked empty.

Thanks so much for popping in. I appreciate all of your lovely comments...Tricia
