Yes, that is the original Jack in the Box.
The weekend was spent packing up the house. We planned on just packing a little bit- the odds and ends on book shelves and in the curio cabinet. Things we wouldn't miss for the next few weeks. Then Travis went outside to work on something, and before I knew it I had packed up all the kitchen stuff. I think my mind and body just went into the familiar mode of packing and before I knew it Travis came in and asked what was for dinner. With pen in mid-air, and as if just waking up from a moving induced trance, I looked down to see the words "Kitchen: pots & pans" in my own familiar teacher script.
We took a ride out to the house today to check on how things are coming along. We have windows! Handy, I know- much like cooking utensils but with more decorating potential.
Speaking of decorating, I am working on a vintage look for our living room curtains (aka painter's drop cloths) and will share as soon as it comes together.
26 days and counting...
Your house looks like its going to be so cool, and they are aerating your pond. That rocks!
ReplyDeleteHouse is coming great! And looks like the dog is ready to move. Sounds like you're all set!

ReplyDeleteLooks like the house is coming along well.
Are you going to tape the kids into boxes too? You'll need a really big one for Travis. Please at least give them some air holes.
