Laundry Room update...

Gotta love a man with a compressor and power tools. Travis is finally on the home stretch of finishing the laundry room. Today he will finish the bench, install the canned lights and bead board the ceiling. Trim will go up....and then the sanding begins. Once that is finished I can work my magic with a paintbrush and viola! new and improved laundry room for a family of six.

Then it's on to Anne's room...

  1. That looks like the nicest laundry room in Texas. Not that I've seen many laundry rooms in Texas. But still... now I have a desire to do laundry. In your room.

    Mine's in the garage.

  2. Jammie J- You and Tony are more than welcome for a visit! Did I mention the awesome pool near us? We could do a mini-Texas vacation : )

  3. WOW! That's beautiful work! I love it when folks pay as much attention to the utility rooms as the living spaces!

If Jammie-J comes to Tejas she could stop here and do a mini-load - not as pretty a room as yours but I've got a Buffle to ruffle! ;)

  4. Seamus- Hell, bring the Buffle dog and we'll make it a party! Although you reside in the prettier part of Tejas IMO...

  7. Jammie J- Mwahahahahaha!

Misti- My kitchen has black lower cabinets and a custom khaki/lt.sage for the upper open shelves. I am thinking that the walls and upper shelves will remain the "white duck", but then I will use the khaki/lt.sage for the bench, folding table and sink area. The beadboard will be the white duck as well...all in a heavy oil based paint. I just think the black would be too much in such a small space. The ceiling is also bead-board, so that will probably get a good coat of white duck as well. Hopefully we will be painting by next week!

And JJ won't even take a half day drive up to Vegas, but I guess I'd take seeing you in Texas over here any day.
