Beachy Sneak-Peek...
We spent the weekend working on Anne's room, and by "we" I mean Travis slaved away until the room was finished at 7:00 last night. I wandered in every so often to bring refreshments and occasionally pick up the paint brush. Anne however, jumped into the painting and took to it like a fish to water. Chip off the old block. All that's left is for Travis to build her bed and paint her bookcase.
Anne left one of her homemade cards on our bed last night that read: "Thank you Mom and Dad for giving me the best beach room ever."
So worth it.

SO FAR I LOVE IT!!! I BET SHE IS SO EXCITED!
ReplyDeleteDanielle- She is planning her "Anne's Beach Cabana Party" when the room is finished. She is the party planner girl in our house : )
ReplyDeleteI saw your daughter with roller in hand and immediately thought "OMG, her mother created another one!". Have you passed your obsession down to the next generation?
ReplyDeleteRoom looks great!
Sydwynd- My plan is to create an army of painters...just think of all I could accomplish! Mwahahaha!
ReplyDeleteShe paints and gives thank you notes? You've trained her well...
ReplyDeleteKristin- I raise 'em right : ) Maybe I should give a parenting class to the Breeders when I'm up there!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could mack out Nate's room in something cool. Problem is, I have no money for paint, or just about anything else. Summer is always so slow at work.
ReplyDeleteNanner- Paint has gotten a bit ridiculous in price, I agree. We hit one project every two weeks (Travis' payday: ) You could do it slowly in stages. What is he into right now? David's room would be all black, no windows, and just a game system. Yeah, I said NO.
ReplyDeleteYes, a roller in her hand and taking lessons from Mom. Guess she will either be a decorator or need a really good paying job to cover all that she will want to do to her house. Hopefully dad is teaching her the hardware stuff.
ReplyDeleteJoeinvegas- I told her that too!
ReplyDeleteFriend,
ReplyDeleteI miss you like the dickens!
I just stumbled across your blog (meaning that I Googled you for over an hour trying to find you again!).
I suppose it is just the "time of year" that I think about you the most... Your birthday, my anniversary.
I've had so much going on these days, but please know that I *still* love you to pieces, and I can't wait to hang out with you again. :)
BIG Hugs,
Britt
