Cottage meets industrial...

I love industrial items in decorating.  If it can give you tetanus I am all over it ; o )

World Market  just came out with an idustrial counter stool that I just fell in love with.  DH ran over there some months ago and put two on hold for me when they came off backorder, sometime in August.

Well WM called...and they are here!  We had some issues with the one counter stool, the screw was stripped and we had to take it back for another or Travis could have rethreaded it, but in the end it was easier to exchange it.  Other than that we are loving the look in our modern cottage kitchen.

Vintage stools look more so in B&W...

 I also had Travis add this tassel to my wall map.  I've had it forever, and figured this spot was perfect for it...

This week will find me at school mostly, putting the finishing touches on my classroom.  I do have a couple of little projects that may get squeezed in.  Dad is on the mend and feeling much better.  Thank you for the sweet comments on my last post.
