The End...

These past few months have been stressful to say the least, but in all of the stress I have also had some clarity of purpose.  I've spent the past two years as a stay at home mom and I have thoroughly loved every moment of it, but somewhere in between fluffing the house, homeschooling, cooking and sign painting I knew that I needed something a bit more intellectually challenging.  A part time position fell into my lap and has turned out to be a dream job for me.  I'm doing what I always knew I was good at and I am making a purposeful difference at the same time.  I'm also able to continue homeschooling Hunter- so win!

Over these months I have felt less and less inclined to blog.  I think after so many years I am just not feeling it and honestly, I don't have much to say right now.   I will continue to post various projects on Instagram, but for now my blogging will stop.

Thank you so much for all of your lovely comments and happy notes- it means a lot to me that so many of you would want to peek into my little world.

The End...

Tricia

  7. Best wishes to you! Blogging is more and more going the way of the dinosaur. So many people are giving it up now and just going with Instagram, which I love too! Good luck with your new job.

  10. Oh No! And I have just passed your blog on. But that's okay I understand but my friend may contact you. She's thinking of blogging. She's had a lot going on and she too has a child with down syndrome. She's hoping blogging will help with loss, challenges and questions.
Maybe you can sneak a blog in every once in a while and let us know how you and the family is doing.
    Best of luck to you!

  13. I am sad to see you go! I so loved your blog and all your ideas! I found it kind of late but went back and read all your old posts! I'll truly miss you, but wish you the best and hope you are happy! I guess I'll just reread all your posts again! 😊

  14. When I first came across your blog, the page I landed on contained the comments where you had left public education. Your words were very meaningful to me because I had just left public educations after 27 years. I just gave up, I could not support the changes because they were not in the best interest of children. I went so far as to put my son in private school because their beliefs were more in line with mine. Anyway, your comments hit home. Thanks for sharing them and best wishes for the future.

  15. I admire and respect you in so many ways... Blogging full time is in itself a career and isn't for everyone all the time.... We must do what we need to do for us and our family and I'm glad that you are content where you are and I look forward to catching up with you and your tiny Tudor on IG & FB!! The End, maybe but bitter sweet...
