Oreo Ice-Box cake...

My grandmother's ice box cake is one of my favourite reicipes, but the Nabisco chocolate wafers can be hard to find.  This is an easy alternative to the original cake, with a little something extra by using the Oreo frosting...

First you will need a couple of bags of Oreo cookies, milk, and some heavy whipping cream.

Sounds good already, right?

Let the Oreos take a quick dip in the milk...

Then lay them in rows in a baking dish...

Spread some of that delicious whipping cream over them...

 Then repeat the layering...

I crushed up a cookie on top, but you could add sprinkles, chocolate curls, or even a whole Oreo sticking up from the top...

Refrigerate for at least two hours and then enjoy!

  1. Ok this would be a great hit with my coworkers. That is if it didn't get eaten first. It might not even make it to work with me. LOL
