ReplyDeleteWow - you are so many things! I think I like the cookie part the best though.
ReplyDeleteYou forgot you are gorgeous!!! ♥♥
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful and awesome! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLoved this! Great share.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky lady you are to have such an amazing daughter! I have a sister with Cerebral Palsy so this post brought tears to my eyes. I just found your blog and am so happy to be a new follower. :)
ReplyDeleteShannon- I am always interested to hear about people who grew up with a sibling that has a disability:) My perspective is only as a parent. Thank you so much for following!
DeleteI found this post adorably done. There is no one amoung us who should not shine thier light with all its brightness! If all parents raised thier children to utilize all their abilities the world would be a better place.
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%. When I was teaching I always told my students (and their parents) to find their 'sparkle'. The one thing they were passionate about and that they truly loved to do. I did this with all four of my children- even if it meant going waaaaay outside of the box!
DeleteI love this post! So sweet and so so so true! Somehow those with down's syndrom have something so sweet and precious that the rest of us can't quite attain! Love all the photos of her!
ReplyDeleteI think the thing I love the most is how much joy she sees in the little things. She isn't jaded or cynical- I am jealous sometimes of that!
DeleteYou forgot 'beautiful young woman'. Thanks for sharing your precious daughter!
ReplyDeleteDebi- Yes, she is! We also forgot to add 'sassy'- she is that for sure! Thank you for stopping by :)
DeleteOh, I looooove that girl! And, you, Sweet T! :)
