Chalk painted furniture...

Annie Sloan chalk paint
potting table (used to be kitchen island) painted in Duck's Egg Blue with Old White & dark wax

Splayed leg table painted in Old White,  clear wax & distressed

Sofa table painted in Old White, dark wax & distressed


Kitchen cabinets painted in Country Grey, waxed & distressed

  I order my paint from here and it really is as easy to work with as what you've heard!  I love the softness of the paint finish and how the colours are matte instead of shiny.  I've painted so much here lately that our little Doxie, Jack, is starting to look a bit nervous ; o )

  6. Just found your blog looking for images of chalk painted furniture. Your pieces look wonderful! I just painted the pedestal for my dining room table (formerly black) in Antique White. My first chalk paint project. I am debating whether or not to distress it before I put on the clear wax finish.
