My mom and dad volunteer each year to put on a summer swim party for the kids and their friends. Mom and Anne design and create "the" cake, Dad grills burgers, and we just basically show up. The kids have a blast and they get to reconnect with friends they have not seen in a while.
Summer fun at it's best.
