Running on fumes...

Seventeen hours total paint time and the new and improved laundry room project is complete. All that is left is to do a few minor touch-ups and to sew the curtain for under the sink area.

My Dad used to be a bridge painter in the 1940's. He and his brother also painted water tanks back before OSHA and other safety minded organizations existed. He told me that after a day of painting in the tank they would pop their heads out the top and then opt to duck back into the tank because the fresh air smelled so bad to them.

I now understand how my Dad and his brother must have felt.

  2. The cream/linen colour is White Duck by Sherwin Williams, and the khaki/tan colour is my custom colour from a t-shirt I own. I will post the colour recipe for that one : )

  13. Rhoda- I read your blog all the time : ) Yes, beadboard is not the easiest to paint. It seems to just suck up paint- even when primed!
