It's not so much the heat but the Arkansas humidity that does me in! Yes, Texas summers are something that unless you've lived it you just can't fully understand. Next week everything is going to happen all at once. I tried to space installations out, but because of the delay in flooring and the long wait on cabinet production it seems that everything is going in at the same time. Be sure to follow on Instagram for updates :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10801153457160483490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-982623767287726798.post-45054450909583190452014-07-15T12:27:29.145-05:002014-07-15T12:27:29.145-05:00I couldn't agree with you more about summer!!...I couldn't agree with you more about summer!!!!!!!!! I dread it coming more every year. Probably because we have such long summers in TX (April through Sept) and even Oct can be hot. I envy areas that only have three months of it. I think you have had great progress in the new home. Can't wait to see how it all comes together.GinaEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09353471067762743579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-982623767287726798.post-88919642728625128292014-07-14T14:51:57.209-05:002014-07-14T14:51:57.209-05:00I know, I feel like a brat for complaining! We are very lucky to be able to do this!! Summer is my least favorite season and I too have way more energy in the late fall and winter months.
It looks like things are going to be fabulous once you finish. I hate the frustration that comes with delay on a project.
KarenKarenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08064699521293763744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-982623767287726798.post-61063741914030535932014-07-13T08:20:08.634-05:002014-07-13T08:20:08.634-05:00Amen to that!!Amen to that!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10801153457160483490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-982623767287726798.post-86902889671957346352014-07-13T07:35:24.850-05:002014-07-13T07:35:24.850-05:00Summer is definitely not my favorite either. I love that you blog about personal finance. We made this move to cut our living expenses in half in order to travel more. Our townhouse sits in a small town where most everything we need is within walking distance. This is going to change our lifestyle dramatically. Sara and I need to exercise more- so this is perfect for us. Thank you for reading, and I appreciate your following!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10801153457160483490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-982623767287726798.post-58662385232032762032014-07-12T14:39:45.064-05:002014-07-12T14:39:45.064-05:00I'm not a big fan of summer either, and I can ...I'm not a big fan of summer either, and I can only imagine that it is that much worse where you live. I really appreciate following your journey because I am both a personal finance blogger and a lifestyle blogger and this move of yours really encapsulates both. Very inspirational!
